Shook built remote television units are network quality vehicles
designed for (OB) Outside Broadcast production and remote
(SNG) Satellite Up-Linking. All Shook built housings are designed
to provide a minimum of 15-20 years of service.
Several
key "Advantages" separate Shook built units from
our competitors.
First, is our .125"
(3mm) hard buck riveted side wall construction which is
far stronger than the .040" (1mm) used by other body
builders. The aluminum skin of the exterior is then sprayed
with a multi-coat etching primer and painted with several
gallons of "catalytic 2 part aircraft grade paint.
This paint process in conjunction with our stainless steel
belly bunkers provide a unit with the lowest required maintenance
in our industry. No sun fading of paint will occur and exterior
waxing is not required with this Shook
"Advantage".
Second, we include as
"standard", stainless steel belly boxes, belly
box doors, and hardware. In areas of high humidity, sea air
exposure, snow and salted road driving conditions, this
Shook "Advantage" provides
a virtually maintenance free housing. A significant time
saver for the vehicle driver.
Third, we pay special
attention to the air-conditioning, heating, lighting and
power distribution requirements of our domestic and international
clients. Shook provides an innovative hot gas by-pass design
that will hold up well in severe environmental conditions
and temperature extremes, while providing superior client
comfort and equipment cooling. This Shook
"Advantage" increases the overall life
of expensive electronic hardware and saves the client lost
revenues due to equipment failures.
Fourth, we provide a
three (3) year structural warranty on the Shook built housings
against defects in material and workmanship. This makes
the Shook vehicle warranty the longest and most comprehensive
customer protection package in our industry. This Shook
"Advantage" increases the overall resale
and loan value of Shook built vehicles.
Finally, Shook builds
only high technology television, radio, satellite, data
acquisition and Cellular telephone vehicles. Accordingly
we have over 200 cumulative years of experience working
with network and independent sports, news and commercial
production clients. The designs techniques used in building
mobile television production platforms are far different
than those used in building ambulances, medical coaches,
or freight hauling trailers. Our 25 years of television
industry know-how is a significant Shook
"Advantage".
Shooks 2.5 decades of experience manufacturing television
vehicles is our primary "Advantage"
over other coach builders. This advantage is evidenced by
one of the highest repeat buyer profiles in our industry.
May we suggest that you consider using Shooks technological
expertise in your next vehicle to
enhance your companys competitive
"Advantage". We
truly believe youll be glad you did.
